Beautiful cheongsams that you can bid for to benefit Chinatown's low-income seniors

Saturday isn’t just a Chinatown Seniors and Youth Fashion Show with a film night, there’ll also be a silent auction where you get to bid on beautiful garments and items donated by community members. Items include gorgeous vintage cheongsams that you won’t be able to find anywhere else.

All proceeds from the silent auction will go towards Yarrow Society, one of Chinatown’s most critical organizations that supports low-income immigrant seniors in Chinatown and the Downtown Eastside.

In addition to the silent auction, here’s what to expect for the eventful evening:

• 4:30PM-4:35PM - Kirin Rising eye-dotting ceremony and performance

• 4:35PM-5:30PM - Chinatown Seniors and Youth Fashion Show

• 5:30PM-5:50PM - Silent auction benefiting Yarrow

• 5:50PM-9:00PM - Film screening of local short “Rebirth from the Flames” about the beloved Chinatown Gain Wah restaurant that burned down, and featured film “Dead Pigs” a dark comedy about a commercializing Shanghai.
