Save the Date: 105 Keefer Decision Day on Monday, June 26
The fate of 105 Keefer will be determined on Monday. Be there to witness it.
The City of Vancouver's Development Permit Board will reconvene on Monday, June 26th at 3pm at City Hall to make a decision on 105 Keefer. We hope you’ll be there in-person to witness this important decision in solidarity and to show the City that we’re watching closely.
Further, learning from the last two hearings, we wanted to highlight important COVID-19 safety and general accessibility information that you should know if you plan to attend in-person:
COVID-19 safety
For the health and safety of all our community members (especially seniors, disabled and immunocompromised folks), we are asking all supporters to wear a face mask (preferably KN95, KF94 or N95) for the duration of the hearing. There will also be masks and hand sanitizer provided. We strongly encourage you to also take an at-home rapid antigen test on the day of before arriving at the hearing. If you feel sick, please stay home even if your symptoms are mild. The meeting will be streamed live online here.
Accessibility
Transit
City Hall is accessible by transit via Canada Line and/or bus. The closest Canada Line station is Broadway-City Hall and the nearest buses are 99 B-line, #15, and #9.
Seating
There will be limited seating available in City Hall with a priority for seniors and disabled folks.
Food and water
Bottled water and snacks will be provided. To reduce the spread of airborne viruses, we encourage people to eat and drink outside.
Bathrooms
There are gendered bathrooms with mobility device accessible stalls inside City Hall.
Mobility Device-Accessible Parking and Entrance
The mobility device accessible parking and entrance for City Hall is located at the W12th Ave side of the building.
Language
There will be interpreters for Mandarin and Cantonese speakers.
Captions
The City provides a live stream of the hearing with auto-generated English captions projected on a screen for the D/deaf and Hard-of-Hearing.
