Last event of the season on Sunday + Survey to win a Chinatown tote bundle!
Tell us what you thought about the events and win a "Protect Chinatown" tote
Attended a Chinatown event this summer to occupy 105 Keefer? Help us understand what you loved, what could be improved, and how you’d like to see the events happen going forward by answering this 7 minute survey.
If you answer the survey by next Saturday, September 30th, you’ll be entered in a draw for a chance to win a Chinatown tote bundle #2 from @lucky.munyi. The bundle includes a beautiful "Protect Chinatown" tote bag, and a preselected set of a print, postcard, and sticker!
Want to get your hands on lucky.munyi’s totes and not leave it to chance? Check out their booth at the craft market at the Fire Dragon Festival today in the Chinatown Plaza Mall from 10am to 5pm.
Last event of the season this Sunday! (Sept 24 1-3pm)
Yes, you heard right. bao and brew: poetry in the plaza is the last event of the summer season for the occupy 105 Keefer series. If you’ve been waiting all summer to attend an event, this is your last chance!
It’ll be an afternoon of poetry, political button making, and open mic to show solidarity against “baoing” down to unjust development in the DTES and Chinatown communities.

Help us expand the events series to reclaim space in Chinatown!
This event series has proven that regular cultural events in Chinatown helps bring people to the neighbourhood while enhancing our connection to Chinatown’s living culture, so we’re planning to keep them going beyond September! To help us with the costs of expanding the event series, consider making a donation to the community events fund to make the events free and accessible to as many people as possible.
