Join us for Style Through the Ages to support Yarrow Society!
Join us for the collab of the summer! Yarrow Society and Chinatown Together are coming together to bring you the Chinatown 熱鬧 yeet lau energy!
Immerse yourself in an intergenerational, community-led event as our local elders grace the runway in their favourite ensembles, complemented by some beautifully curated and donated clothing items and exclusive tie-dye merch from Yarrow.
Then watch Rebirth from the Flames, a locally produced short about the beloved Chinatown Gain Wah Restaurant that burned down and the community-based initiative to rebuild it.
The featured film will be Dead Pigs, a dark comedic fiction drama that was featured at the Vancouver International Film Festival, about a matriarch battling gentrification of her home village by a luxury condo development in Shanghai (sounds familiar?).
