In addition to performances and games, we’re bringing free-play mahjong due to popular demand, and a new cultural food corner that will include:
Deep fried wontons from Cindy’s Ho Yummy 水雲鲜好食檔 🥟
Refreshing traditional tofu pudding dessert from Dou Lok Fong Tofu 豆樂坊 🍮
Fresh Chinese groceries and tanghulu from Chinatown’s San Lee Market 生利公司 🥬
Don't forget to bring cash to treat yourself to these tasty treats and get your weekly groceries!
Also, we have a small favour to ask you:
Because the City of Vancouver booted us out of our original public space venue, Chinatown Memorial Plaza, at the very last minute last week, we didn’t have a lot of time to promote this event.
Can you help us and bring a friend or two to come support the community performers and food vendors this Sunday?
We promise a hilarious and heartwarming afternoon of fun, laughter, and delicious food. See you at Chinatown Together, where the party never stops!
