Chinese School Photos (Oct 21)
We hosted our first event at the usually empty Chinatown Plaza Mall to reclaim the mall for culture and public use (and they didn’t call the police on us like they did on the tai chi seniors!). Mark Lee of Onion Language Centre taught us useful Cantonese and Mandarin food phrases to use, including not-so-easy vocab like “carbohydrates” and “gluten-free”.
