Beedie's back, but we'll fight back even harder
105 Keefer is going to the Development Permit Board on Jun 12th. Here's how to take action.
Dear #SaveChinatownYVR supporters,
Beedie's 105 Keefer is back, and it's going to the City of Vancouver’s Development Permit Board on Jun 12th.
This is a crucial moment for us to stand up for Chinatown and push back against this gentrifying project. We’ve defeated them three times already, and we’ll defeat them again this time.
Here's what you can do to help:
Write to the Development Permit Board before June 12 on why 105 Keefer should be rejected. Use our little letter generator to help you get started.
Sign up to speak at the Development Permit Board meeting on Monday, Jun 12. This is your chance to share your thoughts and concerns about the development with decision-makers. To speak, register with the Development Permit Board Assistant at 604.873.7770 or email kathy.cermeno@vancouver.ca and may.sem@vancouver.ca. Please request for translation if needed. If you register now, you’re unlikely going to speak until much later than 3pm (likely 5pm to 6pm). More info here and speaking tips here.
Attend the rally at city hall on Monday, Jun 12. Save the date!
Donate funds for transportation and food for seniors and volunteers for the rallies and hearing.
Subscribe and share this post with your friends and family and encourage them to sign up for our campaign news at savechinatownyvr.org. The more people we have on board, the stronger our message will be.

Thank you for your support, and we look forward to seeing you on Jun 12th.
