Special Event: 105 Keefer Block Party this Sunday at 2pm
Come have fun, sing a song, and get ready for Monday's fight against Beedie at City Hall
Beedie’s supporters say that building a condo at 105 Keefer will bring “body heat” and foot traffic to revitalize Chinatown.
But let’s show them that culture activity and community connection, not condos at 105 Keefer is the actual formula on how to bring people and vibrancy to Chinatown without displacement.
Join us for snacks, karaoke, banner making, screen printing, and other cultural activities at 105 Keefer on Sunday, June 11, 2pm. Let’s make 105 Keefer a space for community care and connection, not condos.
Come have fun, sing a song, and learn more about how you can help to stop gentrification in Chinatown and the Downtown Eastside (DTES). If you need help with writing your City hearing speech or just want to know more about what’s going on with 105 Keefer, drop by and we’ll be on site to help out!
Let’s celebrate our community and get ready for the big fight against Beedie at City Hall on Monday, June 12. (RSVP for the monumental rally at city hall on Monday here)
