We’re short on funds for the next half of this year. Help us.
We’re just finalizing our plans for Chinatown Together for the rest of 2024, but realize we’re short on funds to get us through to the end of the year at the same pace and scale we’re operating right now. The majority of our funding come from community donors like yourself. It lets us keep pushing back against gentrification and activating Chinatown with culture that’s accessible to all, no matter their age or financial background.
But we need your help.
Since the start of the year, we’ve already made history at the Chinatown Spring Festival Parade with our friends at Queer Lunar New Year, continuously reactivated the dead City-owned Chinatown Plaza Mall with cultural activities like intergenerational tai chi and painting, and even helped revive the Hakka qilin Chinese unicorn dance that was on the brink of extinction here.
We have even more ambitious plans for the next half of the year, but we need your help in making it happen.
If you like what we do and want to see more of it, please consider donating to the Chinatown Together Cultural Fund to help us see through to the end of the year.
